Our program is designed to meet the demands of this challenging age group! School-age children need a safe, friendly, and flexible place to go to after school. Our Youth Center at KIDCO provides age appropriate space (over 8,000 square ft) and activities for kids who are no longer preschoolers. Kids are given opportunities to make choices as often as possible. Parents can count on reliable transportation to and from all Newington and most Wethersfield elementary schools as well as both Newington middle schools. We provide care for all school delays and early dismissals as well as school holidays. KIDCO will offer all school-agers an afternoon snack as well as ample outdoor or gym time, quiet homework or reading time, crafting and gaming.
